Privacy Policy

What we collect

TrueTest has no sign-up or accounts, so we don't collect names, emails, or passwords through a registration form. When you take a quiz, the name you type in and your answers are kept only in your browser's session storage to personalize that one result — they're never saved on our servers and disappear when you close the tab.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies:

  • language_selected — remembers your chosen language for up to a year. No personal data, purely a preference.
  • Google Analytics cookies — help us understand overall site usage (e.g. which quizzes are popular), in aggregate and anonymized form. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Third-party services

TrueTest uses a small number of third-party providers to run the site:

  • Google Analytics — anonymized usage statistics.
  • Notixio — powers optional browser notifications; it may set its own cookies/identifiers if you opt in to notifications.
  • WhatsApp — when you tap "Share on WhatsApp Status," your result text is handed off to WhatsApp, which is governed by its own privacy policy.

These providers may process limited technical data (like your browser type or IP address) under their own privacy policies. We don't sell your data to anyone.

Children's privacy

TrueTest isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices

You can clear your browser's cookies and session storage at any time to remove anything stored locally, and you can decline browser notification prompts.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest version.
